Driver's age
Drivers must be at least 23 for groups A, BB, and between 25 and 75 for all remaining car categories.
Driver's license
Holders of European, UK, or other international (non-EU) licenses with at least one year of validity.
The car rental price includes the following coverage:
– Comprehensive Insurance Cover (CDW)
– Personal Accident Insurance (Death, partial or total disability of the driver of the car)
– Third Party Insurance (Material damage of third parties, Death, partial or total disability of the passengers of the car)
– Fire insurance
– Theft protection
– Unlimited mileage
– Road assistance 24 hrs
Collision Damage Waiver:
Collision Damage Waiver is included in the rental price and comes with an excess of €490 for groups A and BB, €550 for groups C and €690 for all other groups (amounts exclude VAT). This excess is payable by the renter to cover any damage to the vehicle and any resulting downtime. A deposit equal to the excess amount will be required upon collection of the car.
Full Insurance takes the excess to ZERO: This does not include damages, caused by traffic violations, damage to the tyres, wheels, loss or damage of keys, or damage to the undercarriage or the interior of the car.
Additional Driver: An additional driver is allowed and free of charge in every car, as long as he/she is within the age limits and fulfils all the driver’s license conditions.
Child Seats: Baby and booster seats can be reserved during the booking process at a cost of €5.00 per day. Customers are responsible for correctly installing the child seats.
Fuel: Fuel policy: return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel as at pickup. No refunds are provided for unused fuel or for early returns
Operating hours: Pick up and return of the car can be arranged between 08:00 and 22:00. Outside of these operating hours there is an extra charge of 25 EUR for pick-up or return.
ZERO EXCESS INSURANCE EXCEPTIONS
Zero excess insurance does not apply to accidents or damage caused by unauthorized drivers, driving on non-paved roads, driving on the wrong side of the road, or operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs. It also excludes damage to the underside of the vehicle, reckless or negligent driving (such as reversing into fixed objects or speeding in wet conditions), and loss or damage to the key or interior. A security deposit is therefore required. An administration fee of €75 plus tax is charged for any accident or incident. Coverage is valid only within Kefalonia and Ithaca.
Car Brands & Models: All bookings are made by car category and not by car type or model. In every case, the company reserves the right to change the model or the type of the car, without prior warning.
Taxes & VAT 24%: Included in the rental price.
Traffic Violations – Fines: Renter is fully liable for any traffic fines, which will be charged directly to their credit card.
Failure to pick up or early return of the car: If the renter fails to return the car within 15 minutes without prior notice after the agreed time for reasons the renter is accountable for a cancellation fee of 1 rental day.
Full arrival details must be given if the renter wants to pick up the car after arriving by plane or ship.
CANCELATIONS/REFUNDS POLICY
Free Cancelations with 100% refund until 14 days before rental date ( full payments or deposits) . For full payment cancelations, in the last 14 days before rental date, we refund 80 % of the amount paid. No refunds given for cancelations in the last 14 days before the rental date.
Booking cancellation: The company reserves the right to cancel an online booking within 24 hours of receiving the deposit and issue a full refund if availability issues arise. By completing the reservation, the renter confirms that they have read and accepted all terms.
